Top 3 Best Exercises for Abs – Getting Sharper Abs without Cutting Body Fat
3 Biggest Skinny Guy Mistakes You're Making. Click Here to Avoid Them!
It’s pretty basic knowledge that a visible six pack is achieved more from diet than exercises for abs. However, if you are someone who is already pretty lean but feel like your abs are not as sharp as they can be, these 3 exercises for abs will help them pop out more without getting a nasty “roider gut”. I personally was never big on abdominal exercises for the simple fact that I have always been able to maintain a lean physique through diet and exercise. Nevertheless, I was intrigued by a book named “Abs Blueprint” by Rusty Moore, well known expert in achieving the lean “Hollywood look” and author of “Visual Impact Muscle Building“. The book was free (at the time I downloaded it) so I figured I’d give it a read and I must say, Rusty has brought so many things to light about six pack definition that completely changed my view on exercises for abs. I have been following one particular routine from the book for a few weeks now and am already seeing incredible results. In fact, this is why I felt it was so important to share this post with you all. These 3 six pack workouts I have put together are my personal favorites and are some that I use regularly.

(I am able to maintain a lean physique year round – no special lighting required)
Before I jump into those 3 exercises for abs I just want to say one thing. 90 percent of the guys you see in magazines looking completely ripped are following a VERY strict diet up until photo shoot day, not to mention they are enhanced by phenomenal lighting and digitally touched up. Most of these guys walk around with a 2 digit body fat level year round so don’t be down on yourself if you don’t look like that every morning, they don’t either.
Top 3 Best Exercises for Abs
1. Renegade Rows
This exercise not only transforms your obliqus and tightens up your waist, but it also strengthens your chest, shoulders, biceps, and triceps all at the same time. Another big thing that I love about renegade rows is that they make your spine more resistant to injury.
2. Planks
Planks work great by keeping your abs contracted while your spine is straight. This ab exercise works great for those of you with a back injury. Planks can also be performed at a side position to contract the obliques. This is the workout you do when you want your abs to pop out even while you’re just laying around on the beach.
3. Hanging Leg Raises
Rusty calls these the “holy grail” of exercises for abs and I most definitely agree. If you are not physically capable of performing full on hanging leg raises (this is a more advanced technique) then I would recommend starting with either a slight bend at the knee, knee ups, or if those are not an option, lying leg raises.
Include these exercises for abs in your workout routine and notice a more sharp appearance in no time.
